Introduction
Pickle Time helps players and venues run open play, tournaments, and live scoreboards from a phone browser. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
We handle personal data in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) B.E. 2562 (2019). By creating an account or using the service, you acknowledge this policy.
Information we collect
The data we collect depends on how you use Pickle Time:
- Account details — display name, email address, optional phone number, profile photo, bio, language preference, and authentication credentials or tokens when you sign in with email, Google, or LINE.
- Match and session data — scores, rally history, partners, opponents, court and venue details, sport type, open-play queue position, tournament brackets, and organizer notes tied to sessions you join.
- Profile and social activity — player ID, match history, rankings, kudos, and optional comments on points or highlights.
- DUPR connection — if you connect a DUPR account, we store your DUPR ID, ratings, club affiliations, and match submissions you choose to send.
- LINE connection — if you link LINE, we store identifiers needed to send messages through LINE and whether you have added our Official Account.
- Device and usage data — browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, push-notification tokens, and technical logs used to keep the service secure and reliable.
- Match visibility settings — whether a match is public or private, and whether a public watch link may be generated for spectators.
- Recordings and highlights — at equipped venues, court cameras may capture footage that is clipped into match highlights you create or view.
How we use your information
We use personal data to operate and improve Pickle Time, including to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your account.
- Run live scoreboards, open-play queues, tournaments, and session boards at venues.
- Save match history, stats, and rankings on your profile.
- Submit match results to DUPR when you request it.
- Send LINE messages, push notifications, and email about matches, sessions, and account activity.
- Generate optional AI summaries or highlight enhancements when you use those features.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect the platform.
- Comply with law and respond to valid requests from authorities.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in these situations:
- With other players and spectators — your display name, avatar, ratings, and match results may be visible on scoreboards, session boards, history pages, or public watch links depending on your settings and the session type.
- With session organizers — organizers of open play or tournaments you join can see participant lists, attendance, and payment-settled status they manage for that session.
- With DUPR — when you submit a rated match, the result and participating player information required by DUPR are sent to DUPR's systems.
- With service providers — hosting, email, analytics, authentication, messaging, and infrastructure partners that help us run Pickle Time under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, venues, and the service.
Security and retention
We use technical and organizational safeguards such as encrypted transport, access controls, and monitored infrastructure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account through our deletion flow, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
Your rights under PDPA
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete data or close your account.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format where technically feasible.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
How to exercise your rights
You can update profile details in your account settings, disconnect DUPR or LINE at any time, and request account deletion at /delete-account. For other requests, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember language preferences, protect against cross-site request forgery, and understand how the site is used. You can limit cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly without essential cookies.
Third-party services
Pickle Time integrates with services you may connect or encounter, including Google Sign-In, LINE Login and messaging, DUPR, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, and venue hardware that displays live scores. Those providers handle data under their own policies when you use their features.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of Pickle Time after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
